November’s OCGI Monthly Education Dinner is sponsored by Medtronic at the beautiful Del Frisco’s Grille at The Irvine Spectrum. OCGI member and previous President, Jason Samarasena, MD of UC Irvine Health will be speaking on From GERD to Barrett’s Esophagus to Esophageal Cancer: Detect Early, Treat Early!
Dr. Jason Samarasena is a UC Irvine Health physician who specializes in treating gastrointestinal disorders, including gastroesophageal reflux disease, esophageal disease, pancreatic cysts, biliary tract disorders, gastric intestinal metaplasia and colorectal cancer.
His research interests include advanced endoscopic imaging, characterization and treatment of pancreatic cysts, confocal laser endomicroscopy, bowel preparation before colonoscopy, endoscopic mucosal resection and endoscopic submucosal dissection.
The eleventh (11th) OCGI member to sign in to the evening’s program will win this month’s $100 gift certificate to Medelita.
